To catch up with the technology development, Changcheng provides automatic strapping machines and machine grade strapping band as well as hand grade strapping. A series of straps and packaging tools of Changcheng are suitable for various sectors and industries, such as, timber, paper, bottles and cans, metals, glasses, solar PV, bricks and concrete blocks, ceramic tiles, fiber bales, fruits and food, home appliances and furniture.
PET straps are normally used to pack medium or heavy products on pallets or without pallet. We mainly serve the following industries:
5/8" x 035 or 040 PET Straps are usually used in the PV module industry. Changcheng’s clients, Logi Solar Company and Jinko Solar Company, both use manual strapping and automatic strapping.
Wooden panels such as particle chipboards, plywoods, fiber boards (MDF/HDF), they can be packaged using AAR (AAR-125) approved 5/8×035 PET strapping with green smooth or embossed surface, or using 5/8×040 and 3/4×040 PET strapping to adapt to customers’ specific requirements.
When comes to the timber industry, sometimes jumbo coils (like 20000 feet per coil) are used to save down time as they are used in the strapping process with a fully automatic strapping system.

Plastic film roll packaging prefers manual strapping –16x0.8 emboss straps, 16x0.9 or 16x1.0mm emboss or smooth straps
The used clothes are pressed into bales and then strapped with PET strapping for bundling tightly. So the shipping space can be greatly saved. Orgapack battery powered tools or pneumatic strapping tools can be used to fasten the strapping. The clothes bales should use high tensile PET strapping to prevent bales bursting during transportation. As the bales are made by using hydraulic press with tens of tons pressure, so they retain a force to expand. Small bales like 100kgs use strapping bands of 12-13mm in width and 0.7-1.0mm in thickness to accommodate cloth types and satisfy customers’ requirements. Big bales like 200-350kgs may use strapping of 16-19mm in width and 1.0-1.27mm in thickness to guarantee high tensile strength. Also some new clothes which are inexpensive, they can use strapping to pack as bales, the bale size and weight may vary in different markets. In addition, there are also some recycled clothes which can be bailed using strapping.
The water pipes or wire pipes sometimes are winded to form a round coil and they need to be strapped for easy storage and shipment. Automatic winding machine equipped with strapping system may be applied. You can see from below pictures and video as showcase.
